Product Description
Brazed plate heat exchanger has the advantages of no gasket, no leakage, light weight, small size, low price, easy disassembly and installation, and high heat transfer efficiency. The structure is suitable for steam, water or process fluids and can be used with minimal temperature difference between the two fluids.
Brazed plate heat exchangers consist of stainless steel plates with
an efficient heat transfer surface. Stainless steel plates are
brazed at high temperatures with 99% copper purity to obtain a
tight, leak-free and robust heat exchanger. Compact brazed plate
heat exchangers are designed to consist of up to 20 corrugated
stainless steel plates, with each second end plate turned upside
down to form a large number of contact points between all plates.
When brazed, the contact points are also welded together, forming a
compact plate that enables almost all plate structural materials
(about 94% of the surface) to be used for heat transfer.
The plates form two separate channels in which the medium forms
convective motion, resulting in high turbulence in the channel
system, resulting in excellent heat transfer characteristics, and
scaling is kept to an absolute minimum even at low speeds.
In operation and maintenance, if there is particulate matter in the
water, a filter should be used, and most of the soft particulate
matter can be removed by washing with water in reverse.
The compact brazed plate heat exchanger should be reversed washed
every 3 to 5 years with citric acid or other acid that does not
erode copper and stainless steel.
