DIN 17660 CuZn20Al2 F39 Copper Alloy Heat Exchanger Tube refers to a brass alloy composed primarily of copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), and aluminum (Al), specifically designed for use in heat exchanger tubes. This alloy is characterized by its combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal conductivity, making it ideal for applications in marine, industrial, and HVAC systems. The alloy's designation (CuZn20Al2) indicates the specific composition: approximately 20% zinc and 2% aluminum by weight, with copper making up the balance.

3. Desalination Plants: CuZn20Al2 is often used in desalination systems, where corrosion resistance to salty water is crucial. The alloy can be used in reverse osmosis (RO) or multi-effect distillation (MED) processes.
4. Industrial Heat Exchangers: This alloy is commonly found in heat exchangers for various industrial applications, including chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, and refineries, due to its durability and resistance to aggressive fluids.
