In a world full of vibrations, protecting sensitive equipment from interference is an exquisite science. The GR series (butterfly-shaped) wire rope isolators from Xi'an Hoan Microwave Co., Ltd., by leveraging the wisdom of nonlinear dynamics, have become the "silent guardians" under the feet of equipment.
The extraordinary feature of the GR series lies in its inherent nonlinear stiffness and nonlinear damping characteristics. As the amplitude of external excitation (vibration or shock) increases, its stiffness is not constant but shows a gradual "soft-to-hard" trend. This allows it to remain gentle when subjected to minor vibrations, providing good isolation; while when facing high-energy shocks, it quickly "hardens" to effectively limit equipment displacement and prevent collision damage. At the same time, the complex frictional sliding mechanism between the wire rope layers provides strong nonlinear damping related to motion speed. This damping acts significantly when the amplitude is large, rapidly dissipating impact energy; while it has little effect during micro-amplitude vibrations, avoiding adverse interference with high-frequency vibration isolation performance.
