Its working principle is that various dry powder materials are fed from the top of the equipment. After degassing and pre-pressing by a screw, the materials enter the counter-rotating rolls. Under the extremely large extrusion force of the counter-rotating rolls, the materials undergo plastic deformation and are compressed into flakes. Then, through processes such as crushing, granulation shaping, and screening, the flake materials are turned into granular products.
The Double roller press granulator belongs to dry granulation, which does not require a drying process. This saves energy, reduces the investment and operation costs of drying equipment. Raw material preparation
- Select natural minerals or chemical raw materials containing
elements such as potassium, magnesium, and sulfur. For example,
potassium ore (such as potassium feldspar, etc.), magnesium ore
(such as magnesite, etc.) and sulfur-containing compounds (such as
sulfuric acid, etc.). These raw materials need to be pretreated,
such as crushing and grinding, to achieve a suitable particle size
for subsequent reactions.
- Extrusion granulation: The potassium magnesium sulfate fertilizer material is fed into the double roller press extrusion granulator, and the material is pressed into granules by mechanical extrusion. The extrusion granulator usually has different molds, which can produce granules of different shapes and sizes as needed. The granules produced by this method have a higher density and high strength, and are suitable for the production of large granules of potassium magnesium sulfate fertilizer, but the equipment investment and operating costs are relatively high.
Drying and Screening
- The granulated potassium sulfate magnesium fertilizer particles

the moisture content of the particles and improve the stability and
storage performance of the product. Drying is usually carried out
in drying equipment, such as rotary dryers, fluidized bed dryers,
etc. The dried particles are screened by screening equipment to

requirements and return to the granulation process for reprocessing
to ensure that the particle size of the product meets the standard
requirements.
Packaging
- After drying and screening, the potassium sulfate magnesium
fertilizer particles can be packaged. According to the purpose and
sales requirements of the product, choose appropriate packaging
materials and packaging specifications, such as plastic bags, paper
bags or ton bags, etc. for packaging, so as to facilitate storage,
transportation and sales.
